Saturday, June 27th, Game Evening @ 4pm. NOTE: Since everyone had an enjoyable evening at our Church Anniversary dinner playing games, it was decided that every fourth Saturday of each month a game night will take place. Bring your favorite snacks to share and enjoy a fun evening.

Women’s Conference is scheduled for July 25th. Guest speaker will be Patti Ezell. Topic: Jesus, Us and Relationships. Hebrew 4:12.

Congratulations to Linda Findley who has accepted the position as Lay Leader for the Pelican Area of the Global Methodist Churches. The Pelican Area encompasses the areas from Alexandria southward.

Our church family also extends our deepest thanks to Connie Degenhardt for faithfully taking on the ministry of obtaining Bibles for our congregation. Once a Bible is decided upon, members will be able to purchase a Bible in memory of or in honor of someone.

Volunteer needed for the new Building Committee, that will be established this Fall. Please pray and consider serving on the Committee. Contact Rev. JR or Phil.

Phil also announced the need for volunteers to serve on two committees. One group would serve on the search committee and the other group would serve on the building committee. Speak with Phil if you would like to serve on either committee.

Rev. JR has extended an invitation to anyone interested in Bible Study on Tuesdays @ 12:00pm @ Living Water GMC. The church is located on Holly Hill in Lake Charles. There is a zoom invitation for anyone wanted to attend remotely.

Randy’s niece designed a coffee mug with the Global Methodist Church emblem on it and if you are interested in ordering one or more speak to Randy.
