Prayer Requests
Please pray for a mother and daughter who experiencing distance in their relationship. May they find healing, understanding, and peace. Prayers that they may be guided toward forgiveness and renewed connection.
Freda Jones is not feeling well, prayers for her recovery.
Sandy Johnson will undergo a heart catheterization on Monday. Prayers for a safe, successful procedure, and good results.
Kate Meyer, granddaughter of Pat Kennedy, was diagnosed with the flu this morning. She also has a flare up of asthma which combined is causing her to have anxiety. Please pray for a complete recovery.
Prayers for Ray Yerkey and family in the death of their son, Jeff. The Yerkey’s were once members of MBUMC.

· Glenn and Johnnye Ward ask for prayers for their son, Glenn, Jr., and his family, all who are sick.
· Jesse Milnor, progress being made in his cancer treatment. Praise God. Continue prayers for healing.
· Phil Langley has two prayer requests: 1) For their grandson, Nick Venable, who is diagnosed with early melanoma and who will undergo further testing at M. D. Anderson between now and Christmas. 2) Prayers for Gary Trible, a good friend and GMC pastor who will undergo back surgery tomorrow.
. Glenn Ward asks for prayer for Alvin Richard. Alvin is battling colon cancer.

Announcement made regarding Via de la Croix: Date set for February 12th thru February 15th at Acadia Baptist Center in Eunice, La. There is a requirement that attendees must have attended a retreat before.

Volunteer needed for the new Building Committee, that will be established this Fall. Please pray and consider serving on the Committee. Contact Rev. JR or Phil.
Phil also announced the need for volunteers to serve on two committees. One group would serve on the search committee and the other group would serve on the building committee. Speak with Phil if you would like to serve on either committee.

Rev. JR has extended an invitation to anyone interested in Bible Study on Tuesdays @ 12:00pm @ Living Water GMC. The church is located on Holly Hill in Lake Charles. There is a zoom invitation for anyone wanted to attend remotely.
