Prayer Requests:
Phil Langley: Prayers for Phil’s brother, Russell Langley. Russell is experiencing diabetic issues. There is a possibility of having to amputate his foot. Continue prayers for Phil as he recovers from eye surgery. The surgery went well and his recovery is progressing nicely.
Jody Guthrie: Jody is asking for prayers for her family. The family has lost three beloved members in recent years to cancer.
Sandy Duhon: Sandy asks for prayers for her friend, Leslie. Leslie is being evaluated for possible breast cancer.
Barb Seagraves: Prayers for Tiffany, the daughter of Barb’s dear friend. Tiffany is undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer and is not doing well at all. Prayers for strength, courage, and peace as she battles this horrible disease.
Our church continues to pray for Israel, our church, and our country. Ongoing prayers for Nell Scott, Ricky Duhon, Mark Degenhardt, and Nancy Landry. We also pray for travel mercies as some of our members are away on vacation. Safe travel and you are missed.

Our church was blessed with four visitors this Sunday: Frank and Louise Hubig from MBUMC, Mike Chapman’s wife, and Anthony.
Rev. JR has extended an invitation to anyone interested in Bible Study on Tuesdays @ 12:00pm @ Living Water GMC. The church is located on Holly Hill in Lake Charles. There is a zoom invitation for anyone wanted to attend remotely.
As we all know, Rev. Robert is “retiring” again and we will certainly miss him! He and Freda have promised to continue to worship with us.
Dr. Rev. John Robert Black, minister at Living Water Lake Charles GMC, is going to return to help us out. He will begin Sunday, June 1, 2025. There are other ministers in his congregation, Charlie Langford, Doug Ezell, who may also come share with us.
We are going to join in a “Strategic Partnership” in which we will share resources and activities in order to help each other grow into closer relationships with God.
Randy’s niece designed a coffee mug with the Global Methodist Church emblem on it and if you are interested in ordering one or more speak to Randy.
This year’s Conference starts on June 5th in the Woodlands.
